Obama's approval rating goes negative (2)

Obama's approval rating, according to the folks at Rasmussen Reports, continues to fall, driven by a rising number of people who strongly disapprove of the way Obama is performing his job.

Michael Barone explores the reasons for this in his article "Americans are getting cold feet over Democratic proposals." "Americans seem to be recoiling against big government when it threatens to become a reality rather than a campaign promise."

Let's hope these trends continue.

During Bush's era, total government spend increased from about $3 Trillion to over $6 Trillion......about half GDP.

Let's see if Obama can double it one more time, just like his predecessor and government spend will then exceed our GDP.....especially as we keep increasing foreign aid.

The key constraint I see for the current administration is that the world does not have the money to fund increasing the size of our government any further. The other issue is where is the money going to come from to pay the debt service accumulated in the Bush era??
